I happened to see this place when I was seeking a Crumbs, and even posted that I wanted to come here next time. When we decided to take back some cured meats due to Andrew's new-found interest, Lori remembered seeing such a place on Anthony Bourdain. As is almost always the case in New York City, it turns out it was the same place.

Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto, 283 Amsterdam Ave. (73rd / 74th St), right near the subway stop. The No Reservations video is at the site. Find someone knowledgeable (in our case it was Aaron) to advise you on how much to buy, and what variety.
